Wilfs

A native Oregonian, Ben has been playing the saxophone since the age of 12.  He studied jazz and composition at Mount Hood Community College, unde the direction of Dave Barduhn.

Since then he's become well known in P-town for his soulfully influenced jazz style.  Some of which comes from having spent his early chidhood years in church singing hymsn and listening to those old gospel records.

The trio format for this group lends itself to an intimate, evolving style rooted in jazz, R&B, blues, soul and gospel.  Hammond B3, drums, and saxophone...it doesn't get much better than that.

Trio consists of sax, B3 organ, drums.
