Please join us at Wilfs on Friday, August 27th for the “Old and New” Wine Dinner.
Enjoying the summer? We hope so! We here at Wilfs have decided to blend the “old with the new” — a perfect idea since we are located at historic Union Station — but, we’re talking about wine and food! “Old World” French reds and whites in comparison to wines from our Northwest homeland and California, maybe even Australia or Africa, a “New World” experience.
The dinner menu will reflect the same theme with game meats to represent the “old”, French country side bounty, blended with incredible “new” items from here in our own backyard. Mark your calendar, call your friends, and create a great evening! Call us now to reserve at 503.223.0070
Wines for the evening will include:
- Rosa Regale, Italian raspberry sparkling wine
- King Estate pinot gris, Oregon
- Trimbach gewurztraminer, France
- Bergstrom Cumberland pinot noir, Oregon
- Domaine Chofflet-Valdenaire Givry Clos 1er Cru Rouge, France
- Solena Del Rio syrah, Oregon
- Clos de L’Oratiore des Papes Chateauneuf-du-Pape, France
At least five to six wines, with food accompaniments.
Cost: $74 per person, for our repeat wine dinner attendees, plus receive extra special pricing on any wine ordered during the evening of the event.
We hope to see you Friday, August 27, in the meantime, keep enjoying the summer! Please RSVP at 503.223.0070 no later than Monday, August 23, 2010.
