Wilfs was featured in an article By Mary Putnam at LivePDX.com titled, Musical Meals: Live Tunes At Portland Restaurants.

Tired of twice weekly visits to your local gin joint for cheap suds? With the new year filling the night air with that certain je ne sais qoui, you’re probably looking to get out there and soak up some razzle dazzle with your best girl or guy – and there’s nothing better than shaking your flapper to some of Portland’s best instrumentalists while taking in a world class meal, and a cognac at some fancy club room. All the good things of the past come together, whether it be whiz-bang cabaret, hot swing, or cool Latin guitar, right here in this honey of a town.

On Wilfs:

Do you ever wish for the romantic days of train travel, when couples blew kisses to each other on the platform through the engine steam? Then head to Wilf’s, housed in Portland’s old-fashioned train depot, Union Station. The fine dining cuisine fittingly highlights classic Northwest ingredients while jazz tunes drift over the room Wednesday – Saturday thanks to some of Portland most popular performers like Patrick Lamb and Sandy Dennison.”

“Small Plates” does not mean small amounts!
We will be tasting five wines, so for the first time we are creating “small plates” to compliment each wine. We’ll be offering 7 courses of fresh seafood, Northwest meats and local/seasonal vegetables and fruits to showcase all of the wine pairings.

All Oregon wines
The wines may all be from the Northwest, but a few of the small plates may have a little European flavor. We’re gonna mix it up for this Wine Dinner! As always, we will surprise you with our “bonus” wine. Boyd offers an incredible syrah, meritage and zinfandel – it’ll be a surprise!

We request your RSVP no later than August 24th.

For those of you who have attended our wine dinners in the past, you will receive special pricing for the dinner. And, as always, the wines will be available for purchase.
